KYT produces new and challeging theatre by young people.  We also develop young singer-songwriters, musicians and stand-up comics.

Kildare Youth Theatre @ Crooked House is one of Ireland's finest young performance companies, having staged international premieres of plays by leading contemporary wrters such as Mark Ravenhill and Jon Fosse, and toured Ireland and the UK. Established in 1997 by Peter Hussey the company was nurtured from a group of 15 teenagers from Newbridge into a skilled ensemble of 117 young people from all over County Kildare and South Dublin by 2004.
